Privacy policy

Exploration Daily ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through explorationdaily.com, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
- Early access sign-ups: your name, email address and profile, and — only if you choose to provide them — your company, job title and alert preferences (commodities, regions, deposit types, project stages, preferred channels and any notes). We also record the date and time you gave consent and the wording you agreed to.
- Website analytics: we use GoatCounter to count page views and clicks. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information; visits are counted in aggregate (for example, by country and browser type).
- Spam protection: our sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser for this purpose only.
Browsing the results table does not require any personal information.
Why we use it
- To contact you about early access to Exploration Daily Pro and related product updates, with your consent.
- To understand what our users need, so we can shape the product and its alerts.
- To keep the site secure and working well.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
Where it is stored
Sign-up information is stored with our database provider, Supabase, on servers located in Canada. The website is hosted by GitHub Pages and our domain and spam protection are provided by Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up information until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes above.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails, or by writing to us.
- Access, correct or delete your information by emailing us. We'll respond within 30 days.
